Job Description: Job Description – Garage Door Servicer The Garage Door Servicer will be responsible for installing, maintaining, servicing, and repairing residential and commercial overhead garage doors and related components. The position involves reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturer specifications, determining installation procedures, measuring and marking installation locations, and using hand and power tools to complete installations and repairs. The employee will inspect and troubleshoot garage door systems, replace defective or worn components, test equipment for proper operation, and ensure that all work meets quality and safety standards. Additional responsibilities include preparing and maintaining work materials and supplies, loading and unloading service vehicles, completing work orders and invoices, and providing professional customer service. The employee will travel to assigned job sites using an employer-provided vehicle and perform physically demanding tasks while complying with workplace safety procedures.
