Job Description: The Home Child Care Provider will provide direct care and supervision for infants and/or children in the employer's residence. The employee will be responsible for ensuring the children's safety, personal care, nutrition, daily routines, activities and emotional well-being while maintaining an appropriate home environment. The duties include changing diapers, sterilizing bottles, preparing formulas, bathing, dressing and feeding infants and children, preparing and serving nutritious meals, preparing children for rest periods, and supervising and caring for children. The employee will maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and assume full responsibility for the household when the parents are absent. The employee will also follow the discipline methods requested by the parents and assist children with personal hygiene and social development. Additional responsibilities include keeping records of children's daily activities and health information, organizing games and outings, taking children to and from school and appointments, and attending to their emotional well-being.
