Job Description: Position: Drywall Installer (73102) Position Available: 1 Terms of Employment: Full Time and Permanent (Overtime, weekends if required) Wage: $36.50 per hour, for 32- 40 hours per week Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible Location: Various location in Calgary. Job Duties: • Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife • Finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in finish coat, if required • Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists • Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry • Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound • Install exterior and interior steel studs • Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings, using hand and power tools • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms Job Requirements: Education: No education required Work Site Environment: Dusty, Noisy, Outdoors Work Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years Language: English Work conditions and Physical Capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling, physically demanding, and Standing for extended periods, Work under pressure Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Employer: P and P recon Note: Candidate should be legally entitled to work in Canada How to Apply: By Email: pprecon1@gmail.com
